The Great Ogeechee Seafood Festival is an annual event in Richmond Hill, Georgia. It takes place each year on the 3rd weekend in October.

Since 1999, the Richmond Hill-Bryan County Chamber of Commerce has had the honor of inviting people from all over the Southeast to sample southern hospitality while enjoying the best seafood in the world.

The 2008 event will take place October 17 - 19 at J.F. Gregory Park on Hwy 144 in historic Richmond Hill, Georgia. Over 35,000 people are expected to attend!

Rachel M Cotton-Smith is a member of the Arts on the
Coast and a Graphic Designer for Page Printing in
Richmond Hill. Originally from Americus, Georgia,
Mrs. Cotton-Smith received a BFA in Studio Art from
Brenau University in Gainesville, Ga. She then
attended Savannah College of Art and Design where she
earned a MFA in Illustration. She now resides in
Georgetown with her new husband, Al and their babies -
Super Cooper the Gentle Giant Mastiff and Scatty the
Catty.
